Palme was a Swedish painter, known primarily for his portrait and landscape paintings and was the cousin of Carl Palme. He studied architecture at KTH from 1920 to 1922, and painting for Carl Wilhelmson from 1922 to 1923. He often painted in an impressionist style.
Palme is represented at in many Museums and Galleries including the Swedish National Museum, the Architecture and Design Centre and the Brooklyn Museum in New York.
