Knut Norman was a Swedish visual artist born in Eskilstuna in 1896. He undertook studies in, among other places, Stockholm and Paris and these were largely paid for by Swedish artist, Anders Zorn. Norman painted colourful landscapes from the Swedish west coast and Scania, but is perhaps best known for his many southern motifs from, above all, Venice.
