Tobiasson trained at the Slöjdföreningen School in Gothenburg and Blomberg's Painting School in Stockholm before completing her studies at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She exhibited both independently and collectively from 1938 to 1964. Her art was inspired by nature using oil, pastel and watercolour ; she also taught sketching and painting. Tobiasson is represented at, among others, the Modern Art Museum in Stockholm.
