Arvid Wallinder was a prominent Swedish painter best known for his depictions of folk life, interiors, and landscapes, in particular from Tuscany and Catalonia. He studied at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design) in Stockholm and continued his training in Paris at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière.
