Evy Elsa Margareta Selander, was a Swedish music educator and painter. She graduated as a cantor and organist in 1923 and then continued to study singing and music in Copenhagen. After her studies, she worked for a few years as a music teacher in Malmö, but her interest in art led her to switch to painting. She studied at The Skånska Painting School in Malmo and the Otte Sköld's painting school in Stockholm as well as self study whilst travelling around Europe. 

Her art consists of still lifes, figure compositions, landscapes as well as religious motifs in oil and watercolour.
